The makers of Peddi, starring Ram Charan, have officially announced the film’s new release date, putting an end to fan speculation. The movie is now set to hit theatres on June 4, as confirmed during a press meet held on Friday following the completion of shooting.
Initially planned for a March release, Peddi was later postponed to April 30 due to pending shoot schedules and the need for additional time for post-production work. While the team had earlier hinted at a June release, the exact date was not disclosed. Industry buzz suggested a June 25 release after director Buchi Babu Sana mentioned it in an interview. However, with Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin gearing up for release on June 26, uncertainty arose over a possible box office clash. The confusion has now been cleared, especially after Yash’s Toxic—originally slated for June 4—was postponed, paving the way for Peddi’s solo release.
