Delhi: Air India has announced on ‘X’ that, following the guidelines of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), it will impose a cap on economy class ticket prices. The airline stated that this measure will be implemented within a few hours.
The move comes in response to disruptions in Indigo’s flight services. On December 6, the DGCA regulated air ticket prices and issued guidelines to all airlines to follow.
In line with these guidelines, Air India has taken steps to implement the price cap. This will help stabilize economy class ticket prices and provide relief to travelers.
