Two die after consuming adulterated milk

Panic gripped the Lalacheruvu area of Rajamahendravaram after several people fell seriously ill allegedly due to consuming adulterated milk. Residents from Chowdeswari Nagar and Swaroop Nagar reported severe health complications, including anuria, diarrhea, and kidney damage. Six affected persons are currently undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in Rajamahendravaram, while several children have also reportedly fallen ill.

Police have taken Ganesh, a resident of Narasapuram in Korukonda mandal, into custody for allegedly supplying the adulterated milk. Searches are underway at his residence. Officials confirmed that two persons from Chowdeswari Nagar have died in the incident, including a woman identified as Kanaka Ratnam. A detailed investigation is in progress.
