A tragic incident was reported near Bengaluru, where a 26-year-old housewife, Jeevitha, died by suicide following a family dispute. She was married to Vinay, a handloom worker from Motaganahalli, six years ago, and the couple has a two-year-old child. Recently, Vinay’s relative Tejaswini arrived at their home with her two children during the summer holidays. A disagreement arose when Tejaswini allegedly asked Jeevitha to take care of all three children. Unable to manage the responsibility, Jeevitha reportedly expressed her concerns to her husband, who is said to have scolded her. Distressed by the situation, she allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan at home.
Family members of Jeevitha have made serious allegations against Vinay, claiming that he concealed his previous marriage and divorce before marrying her. They also alleged that Vinay and Tejaswini were present in the house at the time of the incident but failed to prevent the suicide. A complaint has been filed at the local police station, and authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter. The incident has raised concerns over domestic issues and transparency in marital relationships.
