A significant development has occurred in the phone tapping case. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed under the leadership of City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar to investigate the case. The DGP has issued official orders to this effect. The SIT has been instructed to complete the investigation quickly and file a charge sheet.
The special investigation team includes Sajjanar and four other IPS officers, with a total of nine police officers working as part of the SIT. The case, registered under the limits of Panjagutta Police Station, will now be fully investigated by the SIT.
Given that the phone tapping case has already become a subject of widespread discussion across the state, officials believe that the formation of the SIT will ensure a more transparent and faster investigation. It is expected that crucial details in this case will come to light soon.
