Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have intensified sharply, with heavy attacks reportedly continuing along the border regions between the two nations. The escalating violence has raised serious concerns over regional stability as both sides accuse each other of cross-border aggression. Military activity has increased significantly, indicating a major deterioration in diplomatic relations between the neighboring countries.
Amid the growing conflict, Pakistan made a crucial announcement declaring the start of an open war against Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated in a post on the social media platform X that the country’s patience had run out. Addressing Afghanistan directly, he said, “Our patience is over. Now it is an open war between us,” signaling a sharp escalation and a potentially dangerous phase in bilateral relations.
