

The Andhra Pradesh government has focused on urban mobility planning for the future development of Amaravati capital city. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan aligned with the upcoming city infrastructure needs. The 61st CRDA Authority meeting, chaired by the Chief Minister at the camp office, discussed and approved 18 key agenda items related to the capital region’s development.
The Authority approved infrastructure works worth ₹547.07 crore for High Court buildings and also cleared proposals to promote tourism, including a giant observation wheel under the public private partnership model. Decisions were also taken to develop city gas distribution networks, provide basic facilities in layouts, and set up dispute resolution systems, including a special tribunal and mediation centre for Amaravati-related issues.
