

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who arrived in Hyderabad on his way to Karnataka, stayed overnight at a hotel in Shamshabad on Saturday. During his brief stay, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and several senior Congress leaders met Kharge and exchanged views on party and administrative matters.
On Sunday morning, Kharge departed by road to his constituency in neighboring Karnataka, which is located close to the Telangana border. Sources said the Congress chief travelled from New Delhi to Hyderabad by air before continuing his journey to his home constituency. The visit also provided an opportunity for Telangana Congress leaders to interact with the party's national leadership.
