Judicial Custody of CJP Leaders Extended

A court has extended the judicial custody of CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka by another two days. The two leaders have been in judicial custody since October 14 following their arrest by the police.

The police arrested them for allegedly staging a protest at Jantar Mantar without obtaining the required permission. The court has now ordered a further two-day extension of their judicial custody.
