The main junction in Nakrekal has turned into a daily struggle for commuters due to severe traffic chaos. Thousands of vehicles pass through this busy center every day, but the absence of traffic signals and proper management is causing frequent accidents and confusion. Passengers waiting for buses face major difficulties as there are no basic facilities like shelter or clear information about bus stops.
The situation becomes worse during peak hours and weekends, especially with heavy crowds heading to nearby markets. Around 500 buses and many private vehicles pass through this junction daily, while over ten thousand passengers wait here for transport. With no proper traffic control, drivers move vehicles carelessly, increasing the risk of accidents. Locals say that shifting the bus stand closer to the junction could reduce the problem.
People are also facing trouble due to lack of shade while waiting for buses under the hot sun or rain. The current bus stand is located far from the town, making it less useful. Residents are demanding immediate installation of traffic signals, removal of road encroachments and deployment of traffic police. They urge authorities to act quickly and bring relief from this ongoing problem.
