

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to visit Russia, where he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Russian state media, the meeting is scheduled to take place today in Moscow. The Russia–Iran talks are considered highly significant amid ongoing tensions in West Asia.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that President Putin is preparing for the meeting, although the full agenda has not yet been disclosed. Meanwhile, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said that the discussions are expected to cover recent developments in talks with the United States, ceasefire-related issues, and broader regional developments. The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Abbas Araghchi has already departed from Islamabad en route to Russia.
