The Central Government has allocated 750 electric buses to Andhra Pradesh. Convergence Energy Services Limited CEO Akhilesh Kumar Dixit said the decision was taken to expand pollution-free public transport services.
He also announced that tenders have been invited for the procurement of 3,604 electric buses. Promoting eco-friendly transport and strengthening public transportation services are the main objectives of this initiative.
