

Chief Minister Chandrababu stated that his government is implementing reforms across various sectors to attract investments to Andhra Pradesh. He asserted that reforms serve as the very foundation for wealth creation. He remarked that the development currently witnessed in Hyderabad is, in fact, the result of measures undertaken through 'Vision 2020' during the era of the united Andhra Pradesh. He explained that, currently, the state is delivering good governance through policies that ensure expedited business approvals and swift administrative service delivery.
Participating in an awards ceremony held in Mumbai, Chandrababu received the 'Business Reformer of the Year' award. On this occasion, he extended an invitation to investors to establish industries in Andhra Pradesh. He highlighted that the state offers vast opportunities for investment and assured them that approvals are being granted expeditiously.
He stated that the capital city, Amaravati, is being developed as a futuristic and eco-friendly city. He also revealed that a comprehensive population management policy would be implemented shortly. He explained that welfare is just as crucial as development, and that programs are being designed with the specific objective of ensuring improved living standards for every section of society.
He noted that reforms have also been undertaken in the power sector, with a strong emphasis placed on renewable energy. He stated that generating electricity at a lower cost would ultimately translate into benefits for the public. He mentioned that the state is making significant strides in sectors such as green energy, battery storage, pumped storage, and green ammonia. Finally, he announced that the groundbreaking ceremony for the establishment of a data center in Visakhapatnam is scheduled to take place this month.
