

A high-level video conference was conducted from the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat in Hyderabad with district Collectors, Superintendents of Police, and Police Commissioners across the state to review the supply of cooking gas and address water scarcity issues during the summer. The meeting also discussed the implementation of the 99 Days Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika programme. Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister Captain N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Chief Secretary Ramkrishna Rao, Civil Supplies Commissioner Stephen Ravindra, Irrigation Principal Secretary Sridhar, Special Secretary Prashant Jeevan Patil, and other senior officials attended the conference.
Speaking during the meeting, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy clarified that there is no shortage of cooking gas in the state and urged officials to ensure that domestic consumers do not face any inconvenience. He directed district authorities to take immediate steps to dispel public misconceptions about gas availability and warned that strict action would be taken against black marketing. The minister also instructed officials to ensure adequate gas supply to hospitals, government hostels, and households across the state.
