TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has said that democracy always welcomes new political parties. He congratulated K. Kavitha for starting a new party and said it is a part of democratic freedom. However, he also made strong remarks on the past BRS government.
He said that people should not forget the alleged failures and “exploitation” during the 10-year BRS rule from 2014 to 2023. He claimed that K. Kavitha was also part of that system and has not yet given proper clarification on those issues. He also commented that her statements on women empowerment and remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy are meaningless.
Mahesh Goud further said that the current Congress government is working for women-centric governance and public welfare based on people’s expectations. He expressed confidence that Congress will come to power again, no matter how many new parties emerge. He also congratulated leaders like Azharuddin and Kodandaram and made sharp comments about internal politics in BRS leadership.
