Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dismissed reports suggesting that a lockdown may be imposed in India due to the ongoing West Asia conflict. Speaking during a high level virtual meeting with state chief ministers and lieutenant governors on Friday, the Prime Minister clarified that there is no consideration for a lockdown at present.
During the meeting, PM Modi reviewed the supply situation of LPG, petrol, and fertilizers, and provided key guidance on business stability and energy security. He urged central and state governments to work as a united team, similar to the COVID 19 period, to navigate the challenging situation caused by the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
