The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has issued fresh guidelines regarding air travel facilities and protocol for VVIPs, MPs, and public representatives across airports in the country. The new directives aim to ensure that dignitaries do not face inconvenience during their journeys, while maintaining proper coordination between airlines and airport authorities.

As per the guidelines, staff must treat public representatives with utmost respect and follow strict protocol. Priority in seat allocation, access to reserved lounges, and assistance from designated personnel from arrival to boarding have been mandated. While security checks will continue, certain protocol-based relaxations may be provided. The DGCA has also warned that strict action will be taken against any violations, ensuring balanced service without compromising overall passenger management.
