Gemini for Google TV Gets Major AI Upgrade

Google has introduced a major upgrade to Gemini for Google TV, adding new AI-powered features to enhance the viewing experience. One of the key highlights is live sports scorecards, allowing users to check scores of their favourite teams instantly without interrupting their viewing.

The update also includes richer visual help, which displays information such as tutorials, recipes, and suggestions directly on the TV screen using visuals, videos, and text. Additionally, the deep dives feature offers detailed, narrated explanations on topics like health, technology, and economics through interactive slides, making learning more engaging.

Google is also expanding its news briefs feature to include sports updates, offering quick summaries and highlights of games and player news. These features are currently rolling out in select countries, with plans to expand to more regions later this year, making Gemini a more interactive and informative tool for users.
