Amid rising tensions in West Asia, a significant development unfolded near the Strait of Hormuz as Iranian forces intercepted a Pakistan-bound container ship. The vessel, identified as ‘Selen’, had departed from Sharjah and was en route to Karachi when it was stopped while attempting to pass through the crucial maritime route.
According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the ship was halted due to non-compliance with regulations and lack of proper transit permissions. Iranian forces redirected the vessel, highlighting strict enforcement of maritime rules in the region. The incident has further intensified concerns over security and navigation in one of the world’s most vital shipping lanes.
