

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed industry leaders at the ATEXCON 2026 conference held in Hyderabad and warmly welcomed textile experts from across the world. He said participants are not just guests but partners in Telangana’s growth. Highlighting India’s rich textile history, he noted that textiles are deeply connected to the country’s culture and traditions. He also mentioned the honor of offering sacred clothes to the Bhadrachalam temple during Sri Rama Navami as part of tradition.
He emphasized that textiles are not just an industry but a way of life in Telangana. From Pochampally Ikat to Gadwal sarees and Warangal durries, the state has a strong heritage. Telangana is also a leading producer of high-quality cotton in India. The government has set up a mega textile park in Warangal to boost the sector. With strong skills and determination, Telangana is moving forward in multiple industries like technology, pharma, aerospace and manufacturing.
The Chief Minister shared the vision of “Telangana Rising 2047”, aiming to make the state a one trillion dollar economy by 2034 and three trillion by 2047. He invited investors to partner with the government, promising strong infrastructure, quick approvals and global-standard policies. He also stressed sustainable growth, green textile hubs and skill development for youth and women. The goal is to make Telangana a textile hub in South Asia and ensure its products reach global markets.
