Dithwa cyclone impact: Beaches closed across Andhra Pradesh

The effect of the “Dithwa” cyclone has led to the temporary closure of several beaches in Chirala, Bapatla district. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the region and imposed a ban on sea bathing until December 2 as a precautionary measure. Authorities have restricted public entry at Vadarevu, Ramapuram, Kataripalem and Pottisubbaiahpalem beaches, considering the rough sea conditions and strong winds.

Officials have advised tourists and locals to avoid visiting the beaches during this period. Safety measures have been tightened along the coastline, and continuous monitoring is underway to prevent any mishaps. The district administration has requested public cooperation until the weather situation returns to normal.
