After nearly 20 days of intense heat, weather conditions are expected to change across Telangana. Meteorologists have forecast thunderstorms and rain in the coming days as summer reaches its final phase. The impact is likely to be stronger in northern, central, and western Telangana districts from June 1. As a result, temperatures are expected to decline significantly across the state.
In Hyderabad, maximum temperatures may drop to 36-38°C, while northern and eastern Telangana districts could record temperatures between 40-42°C. Intermittent thunderstorms and lightning are expected until the arrival of the southwest monsoon. After June 5, temperatures may fall further, with Hyderabad likely recording 35-36°C and northern and eastern districts 38-39°C. Weather experts expect the southwest monsoon to enter Kerala on June 5 and reach Telangana between June 10 and 12. Officials have advised people to remain cautious during thunderstorms and lightning.
