Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that even a trivial incident in Pithapuram is being projected as a major issue through false propaganda. He remarked that no one seems to know what is actually happening in the constituencies of opposition leaders. Emphasizing that he works for the nation, Pawan Kalyan said he is being criticized for not attending festivals and social gatherings.
He further said that while it is easy to damage or destroy things, forming a coalition is difficult, whereas breaking one is much easier. Criticizing selective publicity, he pointed out that caste angles are being highlighted even when two schoolchildren fight, but serious crimes such as the murder of an uncle fail to receive adequate media attention. He alleged that the media is giving strength to negative news and making defamatory stories about him go viral, and reiterated that he did not enter politics for money.
