China is demonstrating significant progress in space experiments. Its secret space plane, Shenlong, has entered low Earth orbit for the fourth time. The plane was launched into space on February 7 via a Long March-2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The Chinese government is keeping details highly confidential, raising several questions globally.
According to Beijing, these experiments aim to study efficient utilization of space and conduct cost-effective missions in the future. However, China has not disclosed details about the plane’s design, objectives, or duration in orbit. Space experts and trackers from various countries are attempting to monitor Shenlong in orbit.
Past Shenlong missions have shown that the plane remained in orbit from a minimum of two days to a maximum of eight months, occasionally releasing small satellites. China has been conducting such missions since 2020, but detailed information remains scarce.
