Champion Cricketers Honoured with the Tata Sierra

The Tata Group on Tuesday felicitated the Indian women’s cricket team, winners of the final, at Bombay House in Mumbai. On the occasion, Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran remarked that this victory is on par with the men’s historic 1983 World Cup triumph. He stated that November 2, 2025, would remain a milestone in Indian sporting history for generations to come. Praising the team’s grit and passionate performance, he said, “Nothing came easy, and nothing was achieved without effort".

As part of the felicitation ceremony, the Tata Group announced that all members of the Indian women’s team would be gifted the newly launched Tata Sierra SUV. The event was attended by N. Chandrasekaran along with senior officials from Tata Motors. In a gesture of respect and recognition, the Tata Group honored this remarkable achievement, which will stand as a lasting inspiration to the youth and a proud moment in Indian sports history.
