Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, where the two leaders exchanged greetings and held discussions as part of an official diplomatic engagement. The meeting highlighted the longstanding relationship between India and Myanmar and reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to strengthening bilateral ties.
During the interaction, the leaders were expected to deliberate on a range of issues of mutual interest, including trade, regional connectivity, security cooperation, border management, and development partnerships. Hyderabad House, one of India’s premier venues for high-level diplomatic engagements, once again served as the backdrop for important discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between the neighbouring countries.
