The Jana Sena Party's proposed ‘Navanirmana Sankalpa Sabha’, scheduled to be held in Gachibowli on Tuesday, has hit a roadblock after Hyderabad police reportedly denied permission for the event. The party had planned the public meeting as part of its outreach and organizational activities in Telangana.
According to officials, permission was denied in view of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations and the extensive security and law-and-order arrangements associated with the state-level events. Following the police decision, Jana Sena leaders have approached the court seeking relief and permission to conduct the meeting as scheduled. The matter is expected to be heard urgently, with the party awaiting a legal verdict on the proposed gathering.
