AP TDP MLA Accused of Assaulting Toll Gate Staff

Tense scenes were reported at the Gandaboyinapalle Toll Plaza in Valmikipuram mandal of Annamayya district. According to reports, Kalyandurg MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu allegedly expressed anger at the toll staff, questioning why his vehicle was being stopped. It is further alleged that he, along with his supporters, attacked the highway toll plaza employees. The incident created a tense atmosphere at the location for some time.

Reports also claim that women staff members were assaulted during the incident, with locals alleging that some were manhandled and dragged by the hair. The toll plaza manager, Ravi, was also reportedly attacked and forcibly taken away in a vehicle. As details of the incident emerged, the matter quickly became a subject of political controversy.
