

Construction work on the new Andhra Pradesh High Court building in the capital city of Amaravati has officially commenced. Municipal Administration Minister Narayana, along with representatives of the raft foundation, performed the groundbreaking ceremony and initiated the construction work. Speaking on the occasion, the minister clarified that the AP High Court building will be completed by the end of 2027.
According to Minister Narayana, the High Court building will be an iconic structure spanning B+G+7 floors. It will have two basement floors, a ground floor, and seven additional floors. The building will be constructed over a total area of 21 lakh square feet. It will house 52 court halls. Court halls will be located on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th floors, while the Chief Justice's court will be on the 8th floor.
The minister stated that approximately 45,000 tons of steel will be used in the construction of the High Court building. He described this project as another crucial milestone in the development of the Amaravati capital city. Minister Narayana revealed that the High Court building will be constructed with modern amenities, befitting the dignity of the judicial system.
