Authorities in Qatar have arrested 313 people for allegedly spreading rumours and misinformation during the ongoing war situation. Officials said some individuals recorded and circulated videos related to Iran’s attacks, which created unnecessary panic among the public. The government has warned that strict action will be taken against those spreading unverified information.
In neighbouring Bahrain, four people were also arrested for spreading similar rumours online. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has issued a strong warning, stating that anyone spreading false information or rumours about the situation will face legal action. Authorities urged the public to rely only on official sources for accurate information.
