Political tensions in the United States have intensified over the new tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump. Opposing the decision, more than 20 states have approached the court by filing a lawsuit.
Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that certain tariffs imposed by Trump were unconstitutional. However, following that ruling, the Trump administration introduced new global tariffs of 15 percent on imports, which has sparked fresh controversy.
In response, several state governors and attorneys general from the Democratic Party have moved the court challenging the decision. Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield stated that it is inappropriate to reintroduce such tariffs when they should instead be removed, as they place an unfair burden on the public.
