The project, valued at ₹189.68 crore, will be built across Mailardevpally, Shamshabad Road, and Katedan junctions. Following the completion of the tender process, the Municipal Administration Department issued orders approving the selection of the executing agency.
As part of the Hyderabad City Innovative Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) initiative, the government aims to ensure smooth traffic flow towards Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and national highways. Several flyovers and bridges are already under construction or approved in key areas such as KBR Park junction, Fox Sagar bridge, Gachibowli IIIT junction, Punjagutta NFCL junction, Alwin Colony, and Rasoolpura junction.
KNR Constructions Limited has been selected as the L1 bidder for the project, after submitting a bid of ₹189.68 crore, which is 4.71% above the estimated cost. NCC Limited also participated with a bid of ₹189.88 crore, 4.82% higher. Once completed, the bridge is expected to significantly improve connectivity between several southern Hyderabad localities and the airport.
