Pawan Kalyan’s Sravana Month Gift to the Women of Pithapuram

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan presented Sravana month gifts to women of the Pithapuram constituency, distributing sarees, turmeric and kumkum to nearly 10,000 women. A grand Varalakshmi Vratam was also conducted at the Sri Puruhutika Devi temple in Pithapuram. The rituals were performed traditionally under the guidance of Vedic scholars.

Thousands of women from different parts of the constituency participated in the Varalakshmi Vratam with devotion. The rituals were conducted in five batches to accommodate the large turnout. Police, temple and municipal staff, along with Jana Sena volunteers, made arrangements for devotees’ convenience. A special medical camp was also set up on the temple premises for emergency services.
