Ponnam Prabhakar Expresses Shock Over Bus Accident

Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar expressed deep shock over the RTC bus accident near Bichkunda. The TS34Z0030 Express bus, operated by Hyderabad-1 Depot, was travelling from Hyderabad to Bichkunda when it reportedly hit a roadside divider and overturned near Bichkunda at around noon. The minister spoke to the RTC MD, district Collector and SP over the phone and sought details about the accident and the situation at the spot.

The bus driver, Anjaneyulu, died after being trapped under the overturned bus, leaving the minister deeply distressed. Ponnam Prabhakar conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and directed officials to ensure the injured passengers receive quality medical treatment. Officials said 13 passengers were on board and all of them were rescued, although some sustained minor injuries. The minister also instructed officials to reach the accident site immediately, supervise relief operations and coordinate all necessary assistance for the victims.
