Major Development in Government Land Encroachment Conspiracy Case

Former YSRCP MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu has been arrested in connection with a major land scam involving the creation of fake government orders (GOs) to grab public land worth thousands of crores near Hyderabad. The accused, who had been absconding for several days, was arrested by Cyberabad police in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.

According to police investigation, Brahmanaidu played a key role in orchestrating a conspiracy to encroach 9 acres and 28 guntas of government land in Gandipet on the outskirts of Hyderabad. He is also accused of facilitating the creation of forged GOs related to survey number 18 in Rangareddy district and circulating them on social media. Investigators found suspicious financial transactions of ₹1.25 crore linked to his account, strengthening the case. A total of nine individuals have been booked, with several still absconding across multiple states.
