

The visual standards of Indian cinema appear to be reaching new heights, with director Cibi Chakravarthi praising the footage from Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi spectacle ‘Raaka’. Starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone, the film has attracted attention for its ambitious scale and visual effects. Chakravarthi said he was stunned by the footage shown to him and reportedly compared its visual quality with Hollywood’s ‘Avatar’.
Drawing a parallel with how SS Rajamouli helped expand the global reach of Indian cinema, Chakravarthi expressed pride in seeing such ambitious visual-effects work being created in India.
