BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) strongly criticised the Central Government over the NEET paper leak issue, saying, "They promised Make in India, but it has become Leak in India". Speaking at the BRS protest held at Indira Park in Hyderabad, KTR praised the students protesting in Delhi, stating that they have been fighting for justice beyond political affiliations for the past 25 days. He urged everyone to support the students' movement and said they were demanding only justice, not power or positions.
KTR alleged that students were subjected to police action for demanding fairness in examinations. He also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing the latter of failing to question the Centre over the paper leak issue. KTR said the youth would continue their fight for justice and alleged that political opponents were unfairly blaming him and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for every issue.
