The Telangana Cabinet has taken a series of significant decisions covering governance, infrastructure, and public welfare. It approved handing over the inquiry into alleged irregularities in power purchases and the Bhadradri–Yadadri thermal projects to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), based on the Justice Lokur Commission report and legal advice. The Cabinet also decided to rationalize land prices across the state to align them with market values, aiming to address public concerns over compensation and valuation disparities.
Additionally, the Cabinet cleared multiple developmental and policy initiatives, including expansion of solar power generation at substations, approval of a one-time settlement scheme for pending municipal dues, and transfer of the Nalgonda–Ranga Reddy milk producers’ union to the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). Measures were also announced to support farmers affected by unseasonal rains, strengthen skill education by integrating ITIs and polytechnics under a unified system, and establish a modern vegetable market in Rangareddy district.
