

A ragging controversy has erupted at Osmania Medical College in Koti, Hyderabad, leading to strict action against senior students. A case has been registered against 12 final-year students for allegedly ragging first-year BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) students. Based on a complaint filed by Principal Sanjeev Singh Yadav, the Sultan Bazar police registered a case under the Telangana Prohibition of Ragging Act. The incident has sparked concern over student safety and discipline within the institution.
Taking swift action, the college administration has suspended the accused students for six months. Authorities have made it clear that ragging will not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict measures will be enforced to ensure a safe academic environment. The case is currently under investigation, and further action may be taken based on the findings.
