India Squads Announced for West Indies Series

The BCCI has announced India’s squads for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against the West Indies. Shubman Gill will captain the ODI side, with KL Rahul as vice captain. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad return to the ODI squad, while Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Naman Dhir and Auqib Nabi are also included. Naman Dhir and Auqib Nabi have received their maiden ODI call-ups. Rishabh Pant has been left out and will lead the Rest of India side in the Irani Cup.

Shreyas Iyer will captain the five match T20I side, with Tilak Varma as vice captain. The squad also includes Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav. The three ODIs will be played on September 27, September 30 and October 3, followed by five T20Is from October 6 to 17. The fourth T20I will be played in Hyderabad on October 14.
