Ravi Teja’s recently released Irumudi has emerged as a major box office success, crossing the ₹200 crore mark worldwide. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film revolves around the emotional bond between a father and daughter. Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram, which also arrived with limited expectations, has reportedly crossed ₹100 crore at the box office. Both films have performed strongly despite not having massive pre-release expectations.
However, Irumudi, despite crossing ₹200 crore globally, trails Maa Inti Bangaram in overseas collections. Ram Charan’s Peddi leads the overseas list with ₹53 crore, followed by Manashankara Varaprasadgaru with ₹43 crore and The Raja Saab with ₹34 crore. Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaram stands fourth with ₹28 crore, while Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has collected ₹22 crore overseas. Thus, Irumudi has crossed the ₹200 crore milestone worldwide but remains behind Samantha’s film in the overseas market.
