Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently scored a major success with ‘Jailer 2’, is currently focused on completing ‘Dharman’, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. Once the film is wrapped up, the actor is expected to reunite with director Nelson Dilipkumar for another exciting project. The addition of Kamal Haasan to this much-anticipated collaboration has further raised expectations among moviegoers. The makers have already officially announced the multistarrer, and reports suggest that the film may be launched around Pongal next year.

According to industry reports, the script work is progressing at a brisk pace. The film is expected to be formally launched in early 2027, with regular shooting likely to begin between April and May. As Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are set to share screen space again after nearly four and a half decades, the project has generated significant pan-India buzz.
