Revanth Reddy has directed officials to establish special degree colleges for minority students in erstwhile district headquarters across Telangana. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to prioritize skill development and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training instead of limiting students to conventional academic courses. During a review meeting on Minority Welfare held at the Secretariat in Hyderabad, he stressed that education should focus on improving employment opportunities and livelihoods for students.
The Chief Minister also instructed officials to introduce special encouragement programs for talented minority students on the lines of BC, SC, and ST welfare initiatives. He suggested involving successful Group-1, Group-2, and Group-3 minority candidates and sportspersons in motivational programs for students. Revanth Reddy further directed authorities to ensure timely honorarium payments to Imams and Muezzins and to promote AI-based learning in minority schools. He also revealed plans to support auto drivers by converting diesel and petrol autos into electric vehicles through retrofitting technology to reduce fuel expenses and improve livelihoods.
