CM Revanth Reddy to Lay Foundation Stone for Indiramma Towers

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to lay the foundation stone for the Indiramma Towers housing project in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, on Thursday evening, August 13. State Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the project marks a significant step towards fulfilling the aspirations of economically weaker and middle-class families who have been waiting for years to own a home in Hyderabad. The Minister reviewed the housing project with officials on Wednesday.

According to the Minister, four residential towers will be constructed on five acres in Kukatpally, with each tower comprising 120 flats. A total of 480 flats will be built, with 12 flats planned on each floor, at an estimated cost of ₹43.20 crore. Around 90 acres have so far been identified within the GHMC limits for the construction of Indiramma Towers. In the first phase, the government plans to construct around 8,000 houses on a pilot basis across 16 Assembly constituencies. Applications for the housing scheme began on July 20, and nearly 50,000 applications have already been received. Considering public requests, the government has extended the application deadline until August 15.
