“You Will Definitely Like ‘Irumudi’” – Ravi Teja

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s much-awaited film ‘Irumudi’ is generating strong excitement following the launch of its theatrical trailer at a grand event in Bhimavaram. Directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 21. The trailer introduces Ravi Teja as a middle-class family man who deeply loves his wife and daughter and considers the girls in his village as his own children. When they face problems or injustice, his protective nature turns into intense anger, giving his character a powerful emotional dimension.

The trailer also reveals the contrasting sides of Ravi Teja’s character. He has an alcohol habit but observes the Ayyappa deeksha every year, during which he transforms into a calm and spiritually devoted person. His life takes a dramatic turn when a series of murders involving girls unfolds around him. The mystery surrounding the killer and Ravi Teja’s efforts to stop the crimes appear to form the central conflict. Shiva Nirvana has combined his trademark family emotions with action, suspense and thriller elements. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays Ravi Teja’s wife Kaveri, while Baby Nakshatra plays his daughter. Sai Kumar and Swasika appear in important roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music, Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer, Sahi Suresh is the production designer and Praveen Pudi is the editor.
