Rajiv Bajaj is set to step down from the Board of Bajaj Finserv as he looks to focus more closely on the growing responsibilities within Bajaj Auto. The company disclosed the development in its regulatory filings submitted to the stock exchanges, citing his increasing commitments in the automobile business.
Currently serving as the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, Rajiv Bajaj has been gradually reducing his involvement in other group companies to concentrate on the automotive sector and oversee newly established business ventures. Bajaj Finserv stated in its filing that he has decided not to seek reappointment at the company's Annual General Meeting scheduled for July 31, as part of his plan to streamline responsibilities and dedicate greater attention to core business operations.
