Private Travels Bus Overturns Near Telaprolu

A major road accident occurred on National Highway-16 near Telaprolu in Unguturu mandal of Krishna district during the early hours of Tuesday. A YBM Travels private bus travelling from Chennai to Visakhapatnam with around 26 passengers lost control and overturned onto the road divider. Around 12 passengers sustained serious injuries, while several others suffered minor injuries.

A lorry travelling behind the bus also collided while attempting to avoid the overturned vehicle, leaving the truck driver with severe leg injuries. All the injured were shifted by ambulance to Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Hospital in Chinna Avutapalli for treatment. Gannavaram DSP Dharmendra and Atkur police rushed to the spot, supervised rescue operations, and visited the injured.
