

Wipro has responded to allegations made by a former woman employee who claimed that she was pressured by senior managers and team leads at the company’s Pune office to convert her religion. The company stated that it does not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment and is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for all employees.
Wipro further said it is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation by Pune authorities and has submitted all required documents requested by the police. The company emphasized that strict action will be taken if any wrongdoing is proven. The complaint, filed at the Hinjewadi police station, also alleges mental harassment and job loss after raising concerns internally, prompting wider public and legal scrutiny.
