Prashant Kishor Wins Bankipur Assembly Bypoll

Political strategist turned politician Prashant Kishor registered a significant victory in the Bankipur Assembly by election in Bihar. He defeated BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar by a margin of 19,324 votes, delivering a major political upset in a constituency long considered a BJP stronghold.

Bankipur had remained under the BJP's control since 1995, with Nabin Kishore and later Nitin Nabin winning the seat consecutively for nearly three decades.
