The much-anticipated mythological epic ‘Ramayana’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has arrived in theatres, and early viewers are sharing their first reactions on X. The film is receiving appreciation for its grand scale, visual effects, production quality, performances and music. Audiences have particularly praised Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana, with many describing the visuals as a major highlight and comparing the production quality to that of a Hollywood spectacle.
Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly won over viewers with his portrayal of Rama, while Yash’s powerful screen presence as Ravana has emerged as another major talking point. The Jatayu sequence, in particular, is being praised for its action, visual effects and emotional impact. Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana and Arun Govil as Dasharatha have also received positive reactions. However, some viewers feel that the emotional connection between Rama and Sita could have been stronger. While the film’s extensive backstory and narrative buildup make parts of its runtime feel slow, the music and background score by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman have been widely appreciated. Several viewers have recommended experiencing the film in IMAX. The positive early response has also raised expectations for the second part, with audiences eager to see Sunny Deol as Hanuman.
